Mind games

how to quickly unwind and improve performance with techniques borrowed from the sports world.

Athletes do not only train their body – they also train their mind to perform their very best. The concept is called “mental training” and is well-known in sports psychology. Discover how mental training techniques can help your team or workplace endure and perform, in this 90-minute interactive presentation.

Objectives

  • Experience and examine efficient mental training techniques.
  • Learn about the science and research behind the techniques.
  • Get tips on how to reduce tension in the face of mounting pressure and change.
  • Understand better how to cope with challenges based on cognitive/psychological flexibility.

Methods

We use a mix of different learning methods, where experiential learning is of the highest priority. Expect an interactive presentation, with plenty of room for plenary reflection. You will also practice mental training techniques through individual exercises and other experiential learning methods. Finally, you and your team will be offered handouts with concrete, written information and tips to take home from the course
